Q1: Does a marine-grade frame mean it will never corrode?

A: No. Durability in marine environments depends on system-level factors such as coating thickness, sealing, cut edges, connection materials, maintenance, and salt-spray severity. Validation should be based on the project's environmental classification.

Q2:  Is a thicker anodic coating always better?

A: Coating thickness is only one important factor. Sealing quality, coating uniformity, dimensional fit, and connection design are equally critical and must be balanced against performance, assembly, and cost.

Q3: Can stainless-steel bolts be used directly?

A: Yes, but the risk of galvanic corrosion between aluminum and stainless steel must be assessed. Insulating washers or barrier coatings should be added where necessary.
