In the midsummer of July, the interns of Class 2205 from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Central South University arrived as planned, filled with the yearning for professional practice. The collision of youth and dreams have planted quiet root on the fertile ground of Xinbo Co., Ltd. The Apprehensive Management Department of the group welcomed these young talents with a one-stop thoughtful service: from picking-up at the station and dormitory arrangement, to the provision of daily necessities and internship guidance, every detail was well managed. The vibrant young material science students embarked on this internship journey in such caring care.
The cognitive tour on the first day of the internship started at the Xinbo Exhibition Hall. Under the guidance of professional explanations and with the support of immersive audio-visual displays, the students initially formed an impression of Xinbo Co., Ltd.'s overall profile and development layout. This was followed by a welcome ceremony themed "Gathering Talents at Xinbo, Sailing for Dreams". The precise operation of automated production lines and flashbacks of the striving figures of previous interns in the company's promotional video ignited the enthusiasm on site. The welcome speech by the company's leaders, the detailed elaboration of the enterprise's development context by the administrative director, the sincere sharing combined with personal practice by the representative of Xinbo's technical mentors, and the earnest message from the leading professor of Central South University were closely linked and progressive. These unveiled Xinbo's innovative vision and development ambition as an industry leader, and deepened the students' understanding of the enterprise in a profound way.
When the focus of the internship shifted to the production frontline, safety training, as the first line of defense in internship teaching over the years, was carried out priorly. Systematic explanations and standardized operation demonstrations laid a solid foundation for the students' awareness of safe production. Going deep into the production site of new energy vehicle parts, the on-site observation of the whole process made the book knowledge in the students' minds come alive amid the roar of machines and precise processes.
On the second day of the internship, the students went deep into the core area of the smelting and casting workshop of Xinbo Environmental Technology, and witnessed the regenerative transformation of waste aluminum materials in high-temperature melting furnaces in person. Faced with the interweaving of steaming heat and summer swelter, the students' thirst for knowledge grew even stronger. In front of the melting furnaces, they not only felt the tremendous power of metal smelting and forming up close, but also intuitively understood the foundation of China's manufacturing industry and the tempering of the craftsman spirit. In the afternoon, the smelting and casting process technology class, lectured by Mentor Li Feiqing, systematically deepened the knowledge system of recycled aluminum and focused on its core technological breakthroughs and market perspectives. As a frontier of materials science and a pillar industry of Xinbo's green strategy, the importance of recycled aluminum technology was profoundly demonstrated in the integration of theory and practice.
